Copyright Notice and Legal Issues

Photographs, Writing, and Original Design: Most of the Flatsy (and non-Flatsy) photographs, all of the writing, and all of the original design on this site, is copyrighted by me (Copyright ©1997-2005 Samantha DeDivitis Smith), and all rights are reserved. A copyright notice appears with every photograph and on every single page that contains text.

Photos: In the instances where a photo was given to me to use on this site, the owner's copyright will appear along with the picture. Otherwise, my copyright will appear. In all cases (even where no copyright notice appears), every photograph is copyrighted, and as such, you may NOT use the photos in any way without written permission from me, or from the owner of the copyright if a name other than "Samantha DeDivitis Smith" appears. These photos are not "public domain." Every one of them is copyrighted and protected in full by copyright law. That means you cannot use any photo on this site on your own site, in your auction listings, for a book or magazine article, or any other reason whatsoever, without obtaining written permission from me (or the copyright holder if other than me) first. Further, all photos are watermarked to prevent unauthorized use.
